About:

Gowther is a doll that was created by a powerful wizard. He does not possess emotions and thus wishes to have a heart that would be able to comprehend them. He is also a member of the Seven Deadly Sins - the Goat's Sin of Lust.

The only emotions that Gowther is able to feel are probably confusion and curiosity. When he's confused he titles his head to the side and when he's surprised his expression changes only a little to reflect that. Other than that his face is usually blank regardless of what would happen around him. His voice also sounds devoid of any emotion. In the manga it's reflected even in his speech bubbles that are more rectangular as opposed to normal round speech bubbles.

He is interested in companionship, friendship and love, but he himself doesn't exactly show any of these. He is clueless about other people feelings. He also believes that everything is dictated by probability. Memories mean nothing to him, he is only interested in learning about emotions.

Because of his curiosity, Gowther can do or say cruel things to people around him. However, he himself does not have any ill-will, as stated by Merlin.

Gowther is shown to enjoy reading heartfelt stories and is said to respect those who write books. Despite being emotionless, he also enjoys posing and quoting or playing out stories he reads. He has poor eyesight.

Abilities:

•Inhuman
Gowther is not human, but a doll, that was created with magic. The magic that keeps him “alive” is so powerful that even Merlin couldn’t cancel it all. As such, Gowther is almost immortal; in the series he was pierced through the chest, got beheaded and had his neck broken, but always recovered from those without any trouble.

•Invasion
Invasion is a power that allows Gowther to manipulate minds and memories of other people. Most of the time Gowther has to shoot his magic at his target either with his fingers or with his sacred treasure, the Twin-Bow Herritt (the letter used for enhanced range and ability to strike multiply targets at once). He can also use it while holding his hands over the target’s head. With this ability alone he was shown to entrap a person in their fondest memories.

- Search Light
Gowther shoots a small portion of his magic and if it hits, it allows him to read the targets thoughts as well as to see their memories.

- Rewrite Light
Upon hitting the target with his magic, Gowther can rewrite their memories. However, once the target realizes that there is inconsistence in their memories the false memories will disappear.

- Nightmare Teller
This ability allows Gowther to trap someone into their personal nightmare. It is possible to never wake up from it.

- Broadcast
Gowther can broadcast his thoughts to other people.

- Blackout
With the power of his scared treasure, Gowther can render unconscious everyone who find themselves within three miles radius from him. Only those who are strong enough (have a high spirit level) are unaffected by this technique. It lasts for 10 minutes.
Blackout Arrow is another variation of this technique. It affects only one target however, rendering them unconscious.

- Hijack
Gowther can take control of artificial creatures, such as Diane's golems.
Jack is another form of this attack. Gowther can take control of someone against their will and, for instance, make them attack their comrades.

- Lost World
Person targeted with this ability will gradually lose their memories, starting from the most recent ones.

•Transformation
Gowther is capable of changing his skin and hair color, as well as changing the length of his hair at will.

•Balor's Power Eye
As he himself states, Gowther has been "loaded" with Balor's Power Eye that allows him to see how powerful other people are.
